Here’s a little bit about ALLO Communications’ internet redundancy and dependability program in those markets where ALLO has an all-fiber network.
ALLO Communications began with a goal to offer Nebraska the best communications technology available. That means a 100% fiber network including fiber to the home. Less than 5% of the nation has access to such capacity. To ensure day in and day out reliability to our customers, we invested in a robust redundancy program.
Most of our competitors have only one direct internet connection causing peak usage issues and redundancy concerns. However, ALLO has made the investment in multiple connections virtually erasing down time concerns.
ALLO links our internet drains directly to major peering companies to the east and west. ALLO dynamically routes between multiple providers. In the event of an outage by one of the parties, ALLO automatically routes traffic over the other the providers.
Our network capacity is so immense that ALLO’s customers seldom utilize more than 50% of our bandwidth. ALLO monitors usage and could purchase additional bandwidth as needed. Customers are able to actually experience the bandwidth promised at all times of the day even during peak usage hours.
ALLO Communications provides a superior internet service. Our speeds are unparalleled in the area and the reliability of our all-fiber network is unmatched in western Nebraska. Businesses require tremendous upload and download speeds. ALLO’s competitors offer asymmetric speeds which makes internet speeds unreliable. You may get 10 Mbps down but then only 1 Mbps up. Unfortunately, the slowest speed in that formula controls the information flow between offices.
ALLO’s symmetric speeds of 10-50 Mbps up and 10-50 Mbps down guarantee efficient and reliable communications between all of your business locations and between you and your customers.
While no solution is perfect, ALLO’s services remained live while our competitors suffered wide spread outages. ALLO’s carrier and route redundancy combined with symmetric service and sufficient bandwidth provides our customers with the best and most dependable internet service offered in western Nebraska. ALLO offers our exceptional local and long distance phone service and DSL internet in Alliance, Atlanta, Axtell, Big Springs, Broken Bow, Cairo, Central City, Chadron, Crawford, Elm Creek, Elwood, Emerson, Farwell, Fremont, Fullerton, Gothenburg, Grand Island, Harrison, Holdrege, Lexington, Loup City, McCook, Minden, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, Oxford, Schuyler, Sidney, Silver Creek, St. Libory, St. Paul, Valentine, Wood River.
ALLO has an all fiber network in Scottsbluff, Gering, Alliance, Bridgeport and Ogallala.
