ALLO Fiber - County Partnership

Yuma County and ALLO Partnership

Every great initiative begins with a great partnership. Yuma County and ALLO are joining missions to make the area the most connected county in the state through fiber-optic broadband. Yuma County owns the network, and ALLO will operate and market it to local carriers. The Yuma County Middle Mile Network was designed in two phases. In January of 2022, the Yuma County Board of Supervisors funded 20.7 million dollars toward the first phase of the project with funds from the American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA). The second phase is estimated to cost 10 million dollars and was funded by a grant from the Arizona State Broadband Office of the Arizona Commerce Authority. The state grant was awarded in July of 2022 through a joint application by Yuma County and ALLO.

Access to the Middle Mile
